Founded in 1952, today SEMIKRON employs 2,500 people worldwide. The SEMIKRON Group consists of 53 independent companies (including among others DIOTEC), spread around the world, thus ensuring that products are quickly available while at the same time they preserve their top quality.
SEMIKRON is the European market leader in power modules (with 33% market share in Europe) and the world leader in diode/thyristor modules (22% share globally). The Company holds many certificates, including those of ISO-9001 and ISO-14001. To add, products from SEMIKRON are manufactured by the lead-free technology (RoHS).
