In order to protect the safety switch against damage during hazardous machine movements a standard key fixed to another, bigger steel bolt should be used.
Using a Euchner bolt with handle is necessary when the bolt is fixed to a door with no separate lock. Sliding the bolt will unambiguously ensure that the actuator is properly inserted in the safety switch.
Additionally, the switch bracket provides mechanical protection for the switch and permits positioning the bolt and the safety device in one line.
The available assembly holes permit easy and fast installation of the bolts.
