Electronic Handwheels
The electronic handwheels from EUCHNER are universal impulse generators used primarily for manual positioning of axes.For the most part handwheels are used for positioning of tools on CNC machinery.
100 square-wave pulses per revolution are available to the user at the output of the electronic handwheel. A second output in phase quadrature enables the control system to detect the direction of rotation.
The HKD Handwheel is designed for panel mounting.

It consists of a total of three parts:
- handwheel housing
- dial with graduation
- front panel

Thanks to its flat design the HKC Series is particularly suitable for small depth applications. Installation time is also shortened since the handwheel and the dial with graduation are not connected.
The handwheel’s most distinctive features are its special unique design and ergonomic construction.
Since as many as three models with different outputs are available the handwheels from EUCHNER can be used for any type of steering.
All handweels are provided with magnetic detents ensuring precision of settings.
