Modular PT-type Light Towers from Autonics/Menics

Light Towers are an indispensable tool for signalling of operation and status of machinery or production lines.
The Korean company Autonics launches a new series of modular light towers with LEDs as a light source.
The new generation of light towers has increased its protection class to IP 65 and can be ordered in two housing colours: white and black, as compared to one colour available (white) in the previous series.
Two types are available:
- PTE (standard), in which each module corresponds to a different colour, defined on placing the order.
- PTM, with one module glowing in three different colours.
Additionally, each type can be extended with a 85 dB sound module.

E20S/E20H Series Micro-Encoders from Autonics

Autonics is launching a new series of micro-encoders, the E20S/E20H, which is perfectly suited for cramped locations with limited mounting space.
The devices are available in dia. 20mm housings with a shaft or with a dia. 2mm opening

Miniature BJ Series Photoelectric Sensors from Autonics

Striving to meet the needs of its customers, Autonics has introduced a series of miniature photoelectric sensors.
In a compact, waterproof housing (IP 67), with dimensions of W20xH32xL10.6mm, the following types of sensors are available:
- diffuse reflective type with sensing range up to 15mm, 30mm, 300mm or 1m (depending on the model),
- polarized retroreflective type, with sensing range from 0.1 to 5m (depending on the reflector),
- through beam type, operating within the range of 15m.
All models feature a built-in sensitivity adjuster and can work in the Dark ON or Light ON modes. Extra features include reverse polarity, interference and short-circuit protection.

The E50S-C, a new series of incremental encoders from Autonics

Autonics launches a new series of incremental encoders, the E50S-C. The series is similar to the E50S (encoders with a dia. 50mm housing and a 8mm shaft), but has a straight or angled connector output.

This type of encoders is perfectly suited to applications such as angle measurement, positioning or measurement of speed or distance and is particularly suitable for engineering industry (packaging machines, machine tools, presses).

CTS programmable counters

As the distributor of the Korean manufacturer Autonics, Eltron launches the CST programmable counters with a timer function. The series, available in a compact 48x48 package, is intended for panel mounting and features two 6-digit LED displays, with digit height of respectively 10 and 7mm (the second display being intended for the set value). Both the 230VAC and 24 VDC types are available. Moreover, each model is equipped with a built-in battery allowing the set values to be remembered even in case of power failures. With their wide range of programming options for both inputs and outputs the counters can be used for control of small production processes while their attractive price ensures improved cost effectiveness.

TZN/TZ Temperature Controllers

Autonics has launched a new type of programmable temperature controllers. The TZN/TZ is a series of modern controllers with double PID and auto-adjustment. The line features universal input (selectable thermocouple: K, J, R, E, T, S, N, W, sensor: PT100, JIS 100 or analogue input: 1-5VDC, 0-10VDC, 4-20mA, allowing for measurement and control of quantities such as humidity, pressure and flow) and various output functions, including 7 alarm modes, LBA (measuring Loop Break Alarm), SBA (Sensor Break Alarm). Several housing options are available: DIN 48x48, 72x72, 96x48, 48x96, 96x96 [mm].

PRD Series - inductive sensors with extended operation range

Autonics expands its product range of inductive sensors with new models with extended operation distance. The PRD series includes tubular M12, M18 and M30 sensors with cable. For the M30 model, the detection distance is up to 25mm. All types are powered with 12-24 VDC and protected to IP 67. Moreover, the sensors are equipped with various protection circuits (e.g. reverse polarity and overload protection).

Digital pressure sensors from Autonics

Pressure sensors are used in various pneumatic and hydraulic devices. The foremost application is precision control of system elements. Digital pressure sensors from Autonics are designed for pressure control of air or any other non-corrosive gas. Two enclosure types are available: 30 x 30 mm (PSA series) and 10.2 x 54 mm (PSB series). Various output configurations ensure high accuracy of measurement.
